It would be a gross understatement to depict this unfolding catastrophe as merely an economic crash and a deadly pandemic, for civilizations and nations 
throughout history have experienced financial depressions and medical pandemics without cataclysmic effect.
This catastrophe cannot be described as one nation's or one race's cataclysm, for it involves all nations and races; it impacts the totality of humankind. This cataclysm is already in process--its constituent parts are unfolding, already appearing; we cannot say that it is imminent. This is a cataclysm involving not just societal elements--political, social, economic, religious--but destructive forces which crushingly overwhelm the entirity of human civilization.
The unfolding cataclysm is manifested in
the demonic civilizational flood of murder, corruption, insanity, criminality, depravity, and general degradation that is now drowning the entire earth population. This lethal flood drowns some persons in a literal way--the victims of imperialist wars, the poverty-stricken, the unemployed, the homeless, the Coronavirus pandemic victims--but "drowns" other persons in such a way that to themselves they do not appear to be dead, but are in fact sub-human walking-talking zombies.
Symptoms and factors connected to humankind's unfolding civilizational cataclysm:
- As of May 14, 2021, GOP state legislators have introduced 389 bills with voter suppression and vote nullification provisions in 48 states. The U.S. democratic system will not survive unless federal action is enacted immediately to protect Americans' right to vote and have their votes counted and recorded in a legal manner.
- The Republican (GOP) party is doing everything it can, in every way possible, to destroy democracy in the U.S. We must fight against this deadly menace in every way possible.
- As of 8/1/2021, in the U.S. there have been 35,745,024 Coronavirus cases and 629,315 persons have died.
- According to a recent survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, 44,970,000 Americans -- or 18.0% of the 18 and older population -- say they will either probably or definitely not get the vaccination when given the opportunity.
- As of 8/1/2021, a full one-third of the US economy (GDP) had been destroyed by Trump's incompetence and criminal acts
- The U.S. national debt widened to a record-high $28.1 trillion in July, 2021
- The House of Representives (Democratic majority) passed UNANIMOUSLY a military budget of $740.58 billion for the fiscal year of 2020
- Banks will profit by $18 billion in fees for processing small business Paycheck Protection Program relief loans during the Coronavirus pandemic
- At least 1-4 billion in tax-funded COVID-19-relief has gone to the tax-exempt Catholic church
- Nike, Amazon, Apple, and Abercrombie are among those US companies using Uyghur Muslim Slave Labor in China
- Though President Trump was not responsible for the existence, or the deadliness, of the coronavirus, he was, however, responsible for the catastrophically botched response to the spread of the virus inside the United States since January, 2020. The number of deaths in the United States, now over 629,315, is a direct result of Trump's willful negligence and deliberate inaction and ineptitude. This past president has American blood on his hands.
- More than 30 million Americans cannot read or write above a third-grade level. Sixty-four percent of all eighth-grade students are unable to read proficiently. Eighty-two percent of black students and 77 percent of Hispanic students cannot read proficiently.
- Private charter schools are cashing in to the tune of $1 billion of Paycheck Protection Plan money, many while getting their full regular public funding from taxpayers.
- Executives of bankrupt US companies made $131 million in bonuses in 2020
The current civilizational cataclysm has been made apparent--to the discerning few--by the criminal barbarity and lawless anarchy which Trump and his mindless Base (reactionary voters and Republican enablers) have foisted on the United States and the world.
The Civilizational Cataclysm-Flood and Civilization's
New Ark

A New Perennialist Allegory
This essay presents a new Perennialist allegory of the Cataclysm-Flood and the Modern-Ark-Archetype. In this allegory, the cause of the cataclysmic flood is worldwide human evil, not a vindictive Jehovah, as in the flawed Hebrew myth.
This new allegory delineates what type and grouping of persons constitute the new "inner circle" and how they are currently building a modern Ark to offer a haven of safety and to preserve the fundaments 2 of human civilization for when the time shall arrive that the flood has subsided and humankind seeks for elemental principles with which to build a new civilization. These fundaments possess the essence of a vital (life-sustaining) force which fecundates (makes pregnant and fruitful) a new culture that must replace the current demonic barbarity. 3

These fundaments of human civilization are composed of:

Specially-created literature (essays, novels, non-fiction books, poems) and art that possess the dynamic 5 to speak to the small glimmering sparks of authentic life in the drowned victims of the cultural flood: sub-human walking-talking-dead, offering the few victims who can hear and understand a means whereby they can revivify themselves by learning how their debilitating selves have created their own graves, using the elements of pseudo-learning, self-delusion, egomania, and presumptuousness to bury their talking-corpses.
Part of the drowning effect of the current demonic civilizational flood is that it so destroys the minds, emotions, and sensibilities of sub-humans that they cannot distinguish between reality and delusion, the authentic and the fake, and consider the counterfeit to be the genuine: anti-music (rap, hip-hop) to be music; mindless, violence-ridden non-movies to be genuine motion pictures; gangsters, thugs, zombies to be genuine humans; and looters to be outstanding, successful people (think Dubya and Trump).
In our new allegory, the cataclysmic civilizational "flood" is invisible to ordinary, non-enlightened persons. This flood and its effect on ordinary persons is similar to the allegory of
The Poisoned Water. Some persons have imbibed the "poisoned water" of reactionary and Trumpean propaganda and conspiracy-mongering and have, as a result, become insane. They falsely claim that:
- The Covid19 pandemic is a conspiracy of the far left to control people worldwide.
- The Coronavirus is nothng but a mild flu.
- People shouldn't accede to the far left's effort to control them by forcing them to be vaccinated, wear masks or "social distance."
One of the main factors in the civilizational cataclysmic flood is the ongoing murder of working-class people by capitalist vultures.
To ordinary, brain-dead people, this onslaught by the billionaire 1 percent is invisible.

Samir Amin's depiction of capitalism as obsolete and "destructive of the human being and nature with ever-increasing power" and working-class people having no genuine counter-offensive has historically been correct in all details. But now there is an Ark that is in the process of being built, to counter the evil effects of the cataclysmic civilization flood. Until 1996 it was true that capitalism's many victims lacked a "conscious and positive alternative project." However, in 1996, the New Enlightenment Website was launched, and in 2011, a new vision of a
Commonwealth Culture was published--the Ark. These two events represent the re-introduction of a Higher Culture into the barbaric world of globalist capitalism and the beginning construction of an Ark-Archetype to save the "inner circle" or Saving Remnant from drowning and salvage and preserve the fundaments of human civilization.
The Inner Circle
This new Perennialist allegory of the Flood and the Ark, similar to Plato's iconic Allegory of the Cave and his Allegory of the Flood and the Ark 6 helps victims understand that their conception of reality is being manipulated by a demonic cabal. Most persons will dismiss as unbelievable nonsense the idea that there is a cataclysmic civilizational flood--invisible to them--drowning millions of humans. But there will be a discerning few--the inner circle of the esoteric Ark-Archetype--who understand the Reality behind the new Perennialist allegory. These persons within the "inner circle" will understand that the New Ark is composed of the New Enlightenment Website and its essays, books, and related activities. As the cataclysmic flood involves the destruction of all aspects of civilization--spiritual, social, artistic, intellectual, so the New Enlightenment Website's essays, books, and related activities deal with all these elements.
The "Inner Circle" will be composed of those persons who have:
- Read and studied all the New Enlightenment essays and books
- Engaged in at least one dialectical interchange with the Director
- Made the life-decision to move to Vista, CA to study with the Director and work to create the New Commonwealth Community
- Been approved by the Director

Since the early decades of the twentieth century, with the exception of the Franklin D. Roosevelt administrations, the Dwight Eisenhower administration, and the John F. Kennedy administration, the United States has been a pathocratic 7 society ruled by certifiably insane thugs. One of the marks of a pathocratic society is that most citizens are infected by its psychotic rulers with the same mental derangement (psychopathological capitalist egomania), so these demented citizens believe their society is completely normal and sane.
Since its inception in 1996, the New Enlightenment Website has been exposing the criminal, deadly nature of American and world fascist capitalism and its systematic slaughter of working-class people. The masses of abnormally normal people have continued to delude themselves into thinking that this slaughter is normal. But now, the Coronavirus pandemic and the accompanying economic depression make it impossible to ignore or misinterpret fascist capitalism's murderous onslaught of workers worldwide. As more and more workers lose their jobs, their homes, their families, and their lives, it is possible that a few of them will wake up. Some of those who awaken may be intelligent and discerning enough to see that the only solution to this world cataclysm is what the New Enlightenment Website has been teaching.

Some of those who awaken may possess enough intelligence to study amd work to gain the realization that living a supposedly normal life of working at a job, raising a family, and assuming that one can lead a moral life as a "regular citizen" within a demonic capitalist system is delusory. These discerning persons may work assiduously enough to realize that they must join with others to form an advanced commonwealth community, because only within that environment can a person lead a sane, ethical, meaningful life. By such study, work, and dedication they may become accepted as menbers of the "inner circle."
