Anathema: In this performatory action-piece and incantation, the purpose is to speak directly to the inner essence of select persons who are deliberately perpetrating evil, not directing a curse toward them or wishing them ill, but forewarning them of possible danger from their actions, on the line of Jesus' teaching: "love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who treat you badly."
